Every day at 10:00 a.m. the Athens Walking tours team is in front of the House of Parliament watching the changing of the guards.
Blacky with his red collar is also there to welcome us and join our team. Blacky is one of the many stray dogs in Athens. We don't know his real name but we named him blacky and he seems to like it
He has been following our tours for the last four years. He listens carefully to what the guides say lying down in the middle of the group he is courteous to everyone, shows us the way as he knows the whole route very well - after all he must be the most educated dog. He follows our tours up to the top of the Acropolis and next day we find him again at the Parliament waiting for us.
Sometimes he takes a day off and surely we miss him.
