Reasons to choose a private tour 

There are many reasons to choose a private tour over a regularly scheduled one. Yes, the price is more expensive but the experience of a customized tour for your party alone is unique and unforgettable.

The tour descriptions you see below are the suggested itineraries but they are flexible and can be custom designed to fit in what you want to see or do. On a private tour you also have the ability to combine or mix and match any of the below tour descriptions. A private tour is for you if:

The duration of a private tour can range anywhere from 3 to 8 hours depending on the sites you choose to visit and the activities you participate in and can accommodate as many people as are in your party.

How you will be getting around on your tour

We would like to point out that the majority of these tours are primarily walking tours except for the sites outside of Athens which require transportation by taxi or mini van, depending upon the size of your group.The historical center of Athens is not spread out and has been purposely designed to promote walking. A much more enjoyable experience is obtained by visiting these sites on foot at an easy and fun pace.  All the major monuments are within walking distance of each other. If however you prefer to have a taxi or mini van throughout your tour this can easily be arranged. Just let us know.

1. The Jewish Athens
