Your tour begins in Piraeus where our office representative or tour guide or driver will be waiting for you with the orange colored Athens Walking Tour sign. You will then board our air-conditioned luxury coach and your bus will head for the center Athens which will take approximately 30 minutes.

Your driver will drop you off on the corner of Stadiou st, and Korai pedestrian walk way and your food tour of Athens will begin. You will discover another side of Athens which lies in the shadow of the famous Acropolis and a kaleidoscope of colors, smells, tastes and textures await. Your expert and totally passionate about food guide will lead you past produce stalls bursting with color, intoxicating spice shops, enticing sweet shops, bakeries and of course the bustling central food market of Athens.

The food tour will end on Andrianou street next to the Ancient Agora and very close to the Acropolis which will be the next portion of your tour.

The Acropolis of Athens - an essential visit
The tour culminates with the crown jewels of the Greek civilization, the Acropolis which is considered the epitome of architectural design, sculpture, art, beauty and measure by most of the world. As you begin to climb the sacred hill a breathtaking view of the city below will unfold. Back to the Port of Piraeus and your ship
Your minivan will be waiting at the designated spot and time to return you to your ship on time.

FROM YOUR CRUISE TERMINAL
Our office representative or tour guide will be waiting for you at the cruise arrivals terminal A holding the orange colored Athens Walking Tours sign and will escort you to our air conditioned coach to start t the tour. Your bus will be waiting for you at the designated meeting point from 08:00. Your tour begins at 08:30. Important Note: If your ship docks in terminal B you must take the shuttle bus to come to terminal A to meet our office representative.

FOOD TOUR MEETING POINT
After your sightseeing tour your driver will drop you off at the corner of Stadiou st. and the Korai st. pedestrian walk which is also where the Panepistimiou Metro Station is located. Your Athens Walking Tour Food Tour Guide will be waiting for you at the entrance of the metro station holding the orange Athens Walking Tours sign. The tour starts at 10:00 am.

ACROPOLIS TOUR MEETING POINT
You will be lead to the western entrance of the Acropolis by your food specialist guide. In the event that a different guide will give you the guided tour at the Acropolis then at that point your Acropolis licensed guide will take over and your Acropolis tour will begin. 

BACK TO YOUR SHIP 
Your bus will be waiting for at 3:50 at the beginning of the pedestrian Walk Way of Dionyssiou Areopagitou in front of Melina's statue across from Hadrian’s Arch which is 15 minute walk from the Acropolis where your tour ends. If for any reason you miss the return transfer you will have to return to the port of Piraeus with your own means.
Important Note: You must be at the designated meeting point AT LEAST 10 minutes prior to departure time because the bus will BRIEFLY STOP TO PICK UP PASSENGERS and then depart immediately for Piraeus.
