OUR IN HOUSE TEAM

Our staff consists of three full time employees. Each and every one of us is dedicated to the task of offering our clients the highest quality services and are responsible for you getting all of your questions about our tours, both scheduled and private, transfers and general information concerning your stay in Athens answered within 24 hours 7 days a week.

The Managing Director and the driving force behind the Athens Walking Tours and a guide herself for over 30 years. Despina hand picks all of our guides one by one and still answers most emails personally because she chooses to maintain personal contact with her clients. She has a passion and enthusiasm about guiding as if every time is the first time she guides.

Our Brand Manager. Anything and everything that is significant to the success of our tours goes through her. She is a delightful and very intelligent young mom who is absolutely crazy about her 2 yr. old daughter Katia.

Maria is the person who will make sure that everything concerning your tour will go smoothly, that your transfers will be at the right place at the right time and that your questions and requests are answered within 24 hours.

IT and New Media Manager- Aris is our angel and our savior when the screen on our computers suddenly goes blank or when our emails go haywire. But more than that, he is always ready to offer a helping hand in a friendly and constructive manner and is usually the best solution finder on our team. Aris is also responsible for internet sales and marketing.
Aris is not anymore an active member of our team; he moved to Boston, USA, where he does his MBA in Boston College. We miss him and we are grateful for his tremendous contribution to the development of the AWT but we wish him every success in the future. We are sure that he is going to continue to develop his abilities and skills and he will have a bright career.

Irene is our Administrative Assistant and she plays a key role in the organisation of our office. She will be answering your phone calls or your requests e-mails requests. She handles with great care our social media and digital affairs. In times, she will be the person waving at you the orange Athens Walking Tour sign in the meeting point.
