“Great tour”
5 of 5 stars
Great tour, saw a lot on one trip! Despina, our tour guide was very interesting and gave us much insight on the history of Greece. Would recommend this to everyone!

“Perfect way to get oriented”
5 of 5 stars
We did the Athens walking tour/ museum combo. It was a great way to get oriented to the city, and we learned allot. We had James as our guide. He was quite fun and easy to understand. We walked all the important parts of the city and he pointed out all of the things we didn't stop at so that we could visit later on our own. After the first part of the tour I was afraid I was almost too tired to go on with the museum part, but I am so glad I did. The Athens Museum was PHENOMINAL! James took us to the most important parts and gave a great tour. Of the 16 or so people in our group during the day only 6-8 of us did the museum too which made it much more personal. Let me point out to that prior to my trip I contacted Despina with this company to book. I had a couple questions and she sent me at least 5 emails on other things I could do in Athens as well. I am so thankful she took the time to give me all kinds of suggestions that benefited her in no way. Thank you for this kind and warm act! This tour was a larger scale operation as it was a group, but had the feel that they cared enough to make it personable and not just about getting paid. I would tell anyone going to Athens to do this your first day, FANTASTIC!

“Money well spent-informative and tasty”
5 of 5 stars
Really enjoyed this walking tour-we went to places we would never have found on our own-not far from the tourist areas but not a tourist in sight. Our guide was so friendly and a delight and as well as the vast amount of information given on food there was so much more about Athens, Greece and the traditions/customs old and new- a real sense of the old and new and how it now sits alongside each other. It was great tasting all the different foods and knowing the history behind it-fabulous smells and sights too. We usually go it alone and I am not an ardent walker but both myself and my husband totally enjoyed it-one of the best parts of the holiday as I learnt so much and I love food and new experiences-i'm a pescatorian (vegetarian who eats fish!) and apart from one place everything on offer was suitable and even there I enjoyed the description of how the meat was cured and seasoned etc. Top notch.

“'as lip-smackingly seductive as a bowl of fat chips and pungent aioli'”
I recommend this walking tour to any food enthusiast, we visited shops with lots of character and rich in Hellenic culture. My favorite visit was a traditional Athenian restaurant dating back to the 1920s , no way i would have discovered these shops my self !

“Do this first thing when you get to Athens!”
5 of 5 starsDespina was our tour guide and she was great! It was very interesting, informative and I definitely felt like we got a lot more out of it than if we had just gone to the places on the tour by ourselves. I would definitely recommend doing this tour sooner on the trip rather than later because it sort of gets you oriented to some of the more important places you'll visit in Athens.

“Efficient, Informative, and Entertaining”
This tour was a great way to spend a few hours seeing some of the tourist highlights in Athens, and was a great way to learn more than I'd ever find on my own about historic and contemporary Athens.
I wouldn't blame someone who has been giving constant tours for as long as Despina has to show signs of waning interest or enthusiasm, but she did a wonderful job of eagerly showing us around and efficiently guiding us through a candid tour of the historical highlights of Athens.
Thanks!

"Best tour very knowlegeable"
I would highly recommend the tour to anyone wanting to know about the popular sites of athens. Guide puts own spin on a few issues of current greece which blend in with its history which adds to the tours individuality. Small group on this tour with alot of time allocated to ask questions or to just listen to the guide

“AMAZING!”

To all the people who is projecting to visit Athens...you MUST do this tour! I went with my husband in Athens at the beginning of January, finding a marvellous weather, not too many tourists and having the possibility to visit The Acropolis and all the museums without queues and crowded spaces. Our guide was Despina and there is an only word to describe her: SUPERB!
She replied me quickly when I wrote to ask info about the tour and then, during the tour, she uses a very easy English, making the tour pleasant and funny. What I most appreciated was the union she created between past and today time, giving a very interesting description of all what we saw. You will feel in a gap between the ancient Greek and the modern Athens. It's absolutely fantastic! And you can ask all what you want about the city: Despina will be ready to reply you!
=:)

"Excellent tour and guide”
Our group of four did the Athens City Tour, the Acropolis, and the New Acropolis Museum; our guide was Vikki, who was excellent. The Museum is fantastic - highly recommended. Because of bad weather, our guide took us to the Museum before the Acropolis, since everyone on our tour was booked for all three sites. It was actually very helpful to see the museum first, so that we could learn and understand more before going to the Acropolis itself.
