SPECIAL INFORMATION FOR CRUISE PASSENGERS PARTICIPATING IN AN ATHENS WALKING TOUR
We can arrange a private transfer round trip to bring you to the tour meeting point from Piraeus to Syntagma, Safely, Reliably and Comfortably.
Price 35 Euro one way for up to four people (a taxi transfers 4 people)
FROM WHERE:
Your private transfer will pick you up from the arrivals section of the port at a time convenient for you. You will recognize your transfer immediately because the driver will be waiting for you while holding a sign with your name on it.
WHAT TIME: For transfers from Piraeus to Syntagma:
For ships that dock between 07:00 and 08:00, the pick up time for your transfer will be at 08:50.
This will give you ample time to make it to the city center in time for the tour start time, which is 09:30 (we begin to meet from 09:20) For transfers from Syntagma to Piraeus: We suggest you arrange your pick up time to coincide at least 1&1/2 hour prior to your ships sailing time.
DROP OFF/PICK UP POINT:
For tours that have the Syntagma Square Metro station as a meeting point, the Drop off/ Pick up point will be the McDonald's restaurant which is directly across the street from Syntagma Square. You will see the entrance to the metro station directly in the middle of the Syntagma Square in front of the House of Parliament. If you have any questions, your driver will be happy to assist you. Once you enter the Syntagma station, you will take the escalators to the lower level, a big room, where the ticket validating machines are, underneath the big hanging clock. Our representative will be there waiting for you holding an orange Athens Walking Tour sign.
BOOKING MY TRANSFER:
Transfers (with taxi or mini van) can be booked directly on-line when you book your Athens Walking Tour. You can contact us in the event of a special request.

Please take note:
Due to metro works from January 12 to April 1, 2010 on line 1, Piraeus -Athens getting from Piraeus to Syntagma may be a little challenging.you will have to change into a bus from Phaleron metro station to Kallithea and on to the train again. this may cause a little delay to your scheduled arrival. as an alternative, the Athens walking tours, has a first rate transfer service that can accommodate you
