On Thursday June 20, 2013 the Acropolis Museum turns four! In celebration the museum will remain open from 8.oo a.m. until midnight and special events have been planned. Its restaurant will also be open from 8.00 a.m. to 12.00 midnight and the admission fee will be reduced to 3 Euros.

Enjoy a fabulous Mediterranean dinner beneath the light of Greek civilization at the Acropolis Museum of Athens.
Museum visitors will have the unique opportunity to learn about the up until now secretstories of the preserved parts of the Parthenon frieze with the help of the archaeologists-curators and the specially designed 3D screenings in the Parthenon Gallery.

On the same evening at 9.00 p.m. the Wind Instrument Philharmonic Orchestra of the Municipality of Athens which will accompany the guided tour of the visitors at the front yard with popular melodies from its international repertoire.
Also, at the Museum shop visitors can find two new items: the reproduction of the head of Poseidon and the head of Artemis from the eastern Parthenon frieze..
