The early morning tour was absolutely perfect! No crowds, cooler temperatures, but the most important aspect, was our guide Marguerite. She was so lovely! Knowledgeable, funny, a great photographer , amazing pace and included everyone in the group. Would 100% recommend this tour!

We entered when the Acropolis opened but there is so few crowds even compared to later in the day. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. She turned the history into a story so we learned about and enjoyed our surroundings. Well worth it! Fantastic setting. We had such a fun evening with Katerina who shared great stories as we cooked delicious food. They served us dinner outdoors overlooking the Acropolis, so the setting was even better than we were expecting.

We enjoyed an excellent "highlights tour" through Athens Walking Tours in 2014. Based on that, we booked AGT40B (Acropolis & Parthenon... Extended Edition") for our return in 2024. The early start was worth the effort because we beat the crowds and heat. Niobe, our guide, was excellent. She was informative and easy to understand and walked at a manageable pace for the group of 15 to 20 people. She even knew a shady spot where we could get off our feet.
