The Acropolis is open during the following hours:
Winter (November - March): 8 am – 5 pm
Last entrance 4.30 pm
Summer (April - October): 8 am - 7.30 pm
Last entrance to the Site at 7 pm
From the 1st pf September the following opening hours apply, due to a gradual reduction in the length of the day:
1st to 15th September 8 am - 7.30 pm, Last entrance to the Site at 7 pm
16th to 30th September 8 am - 7 pm, Last entrance to the Site at 6.30 pm
1st to 15th October 8 am- 6.30 pm, Last entrance to the Site at 6 pm
16th to 30th October 8 am - 6 pm, Last entrance to the Site at 5.30 pm
Really enjoyed the tour! It was very educational and informative! Our tour guide has a degree in anthropology so we learned a lot about the Acropolis and beyond. I would have missed a lot of details and gained a lot less if I were touring the sites on my own.

I completely agree with what Jade commented recently. It's impossible to understand the most important facts without a guide, and our guide was knowledgeable and interesting.

Fantastic Experience We booked tours with a couple of tour companies but Skip the Line Acropolis of Athens and New Acropolis Museum Tour with Athen Walking Tours was our favorite.
