ENTRANCE FEES TO THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITES & MUSEUMS OF ATTICA

(VALID AS OF JANUARY 01, 2022)

Below you can find information for the tickets and entrance fees for the major archeological sites of Athens. 
From November 1st to March 30th (01/11-31/03) of each year, a reduced rate applies exclusively to single-use tickets for all archaeological sites and museums belonging to the State.

Special Combo Ticket

There is a Special ticket package (combo) that covers 7 archaeological sites in Athens.

The cost is 30 € and there is only a Full Version. 

• It is valid for 5 days. It can be used for 5 days after the first entrance, which must have been realized within 5 days from the selected date.

Acropolis Northern and South Entrance

• 20€ for the adults from April 01 to October 31
• 10€ for the adults from November 01 to March 31
• 10€ for students outside the EU (with current student ID) all the year-round
• 10€ for seniors (over 65 years old) from the EU (with ID or passport) all the year-round
• Free for children and youth up to 25 years old (with valid ID or passport) from EU countries (with valid student ID) all year-round 
• Free for all children up to 5 years old

Ancient Agora & Agora Museum

• 10€ for the adults from April 01 to October 31
• 5€ for the adults from November 01 to March 31
• 5€ for students outside the EU (with current student ID) all the year-round
• 5€ for seniors (over 65 years old) from the EU (with ID or passport) all the year-round
• Free for children and youth up to 25 years old (with valid ID or passport) from EU countries (with valid student ID) all year-round 
• Free for all children up to 5 years old

Roman Agora

• 10€ for the adults from April 01 to October 31
• 5€ for the adults from November 01 to March 31
• 5€ for students outside the EU (with current student ID) all the year-round
• 5€ for seniors (over 65 years old) from the EU (with ID or passport) all the year-round
• Free for children and youth up to 25 years old (with valid ID or passport) from EU countries (with valid student ID) all year-round

Hadrian Library

• 6€ for the adults from April 01 to October 31
• 3€ for the adults from November 01 to March 31
• 3€ for students outside the EU (with current student ID) all the year-round
• 3€ for seniors (over 65 years old) from the EU (with ID or passport) all the year-round
• Free for children and youth up to 25 years old (with valid ID or passport) from EU countries (with valid student ID) all year-round

Temple of Olympian Zeus (Olympieion)

• 8€ for the adults from April 01 to October 31

Keramikos (site & museum)

• 8€ for the adults from April 01 to October 31

Aristoteles Lyceum

• 4€ for the adults from April 01 to October 31

• 2€ for students outside the EU (with current student ID) all the year-round

• Free for children and youth up to 25 years old (with valid ID or passport) from EU countries (with valid student ID) all year-round

National Archaeological Museum

• 12€ for the adults from April 01 to October 31
• 6€ for the adults from November 01 to March 31
• 6€ for students outside the EU (with current student ID) all the year-round
• 6€ for seniors (over 65 years old) from the EU (with ID or passport) all the year-round
• Free for children and youth up to 25 years old (with valid ID or passport) from EU countries (with valid student ID) all year-round 
• Free for all children up to 5 years old

Entrance is free to all visitors on the following days:

• 6 March (Memory of Melina Mercouri)

• 18 April (International Monument Day)

• 18 May (International Museum Day)

• The last weekend of September (European Days of Cultural Heritage)

• October 28th

• Every first Sunday, from November 1st to March 31st annually.

The following visitors are entitled to FREE ADMISSION:

• Tour Guides with a professional license from the Hellenic Ministry of Development

• Teachers or parents accompanying children on primary & secondary education school visits

• Official guests of the Greek Public

• Visitors with disabilities from EU and non-EU countries and people accompanying them

• Archaeologists, with a current working identification card

 B). The following visitors are entitled to FREE ADMISSION to the Acropolis Museum:

• Young persons under 24 years of age, from EU countries, with a current identification card

• Children under 5 years of age, from non-EU countries

• Students from Higher Education Institutions and Tour Guide Training Institutions, from EU countries, with current student identification card or International Student Identity Card (ISIC)

• ΙCOM and ICOMOS cardholders

• Teachers accompanying children on primary & secondary education school visits

• Journalists, with current journalists’ identification card

• Members of the ‘Friends of the Acropolis’ (EFA), with current membership card

• Visitors with disabilities (67% or more) from EU and non-EU countries and person accompanying them, with disability certificate by the Health Ministry or public sector medical report, clearly indicating disability and its percentage.

• Professors of Archaeology, with a current identification card

• Tour Guides with a professional license from the Hellenic Ministry of Tourism

• Greek unemployed citizens, with an identification card and current unemployment card

• Greek citizens performing their military service, with a current military service identification card

• Employees of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture, with a current working identification card

• Members of the Greek Parliament

• Official guests of the Greek Public
