As of June 1, the use of masks is no longer mandatory in indoor spaces, such as supermarkets and shops. However, Greek Tourism continues to operate with the maximum safety possible, still applying advanced health protection protocols. These protocols involve every Greek citizen, people employed in the tourist section, and of course, visitors.
Compliance with these protocols during your stay, and mainly, during your transports is crucial to ensure the maintenance of safety for all of us. The compulsory use of masks outdoors and in certain indoor areas may have been abolished, nevertheless the Health Experts Committe continue to recommend their use in crowded areas, especially for citizens of vulnerable groups.
May we also remind you that visitors who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 upon their arrival in the country, or during their stay can optionally isolate at their booked hotel, provided that the length of their stay at the hotel covers the required quarantine period. Moreover, it is possible to perform PCR or rapid tests at the place where each guest stays, should they need it for returning home.
Enjoy your stay by acting responsibly, and always think of others too.
