It’s again this time of the year when our efforts are paying off. We are once again, for the tenth year in a row among the top 10% of travelers’ favorites according to Tripadvisor. Our guests have placed us in this extremely honorary position by writing excellent feedback for our provided services. We have been consistent winners of the Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice Award for the last decade, and we are happy and grateful. The past 3 years may have been particularly challenging, but we have managed to survive and thrive, as Athens Walking Tours proudly finds itself among the top tour operators worldwide that have received great travelers’ reviews on Tripadvisor. 

Each year for the past decade, we have had the privilege and the profound pleasure of welcoming guests from around the world. They, in return, have honored us with excellent ratings and warm, touching comments. We are delighted to be among the top tour operators worldwide today, knowing that even in unfavourable times and tough situations we have managed to stand on our feet and find the right path. We implemented innovative tools, we invested in the training of our executives, with emphasis on our Operations department, and with the aid of technology we created sensational online experiences to stay in touch with our guests even though travel was prohibited. Additionally, we proactively designed new, exciting services to prepare for the post pandemic era.

Awards and distinctions are certainly gratifying, but also entail great responsibility. We hold ourselves especially accountable to our guests, and promise that we will continue to strive being worthy of their preference and trust. We are a company and this award is the result of a team effort of all our people. However, special recognition is due to our absolutely wonderful tour guides. They are the ones who day after day go above and beyond to provide outstanding service, no matter what the circumstances are. They are the ones who are constantly out there on the field of duty, just like soldiers, spreading their wealth of knowledge and exhibiting extraordinary professionalism. Together, we will continue to be as motivated and as adaptable as possible to the travellers’ needs.
