Ancient Agora is where ancient Greek democracy came to life. It was a commercial, political, religious, and cultural hub where the greatest Greeks such as Plato, Socrates, Demosthenes, e.t.c. theorized, spoke out, and debated. With your private licensed guide, you will get to explore the site and also see all the significant artifacts at the Agora Museum, located in the two-storied Stoa of Attalos which was built in the 2nd century BC. You can ask your guide as many questions as you like since this is a private tour that will be customized to your needs.

However, please be aware that even with our skip-the-ticket-line service, there might be some waiting time required for security checks. This is because visitor numbers can fluctuate unpredictably at the sites throughout the day. The typical waiting time falls within 0 to 10 or 30 minutes, though on rare occasions, it might be longer. 

However, here's where our service truly shines: Even amidst a queue, our experienced guides will always stay by your side. They will use this time as an opportunity to kickstart your tour, offering in-depth explanations about the history and significance of the site you're about to explore. Meeting point

Our suggestion is outside the main entrance of the archaeological site of the Ancient Agora, situated on Adrianou str., opposite St. Philippos Greek Orthodox Church. Your guide, holding an orange Athens Walking Tours sign, will meet you there.

• Adults from EU countries 25+: 20 euros
• Adults from non-EU countries 18+: 20 euros
• European citizens 65+ : 10 euros (valid only from October to May)
• European citizens under 25 years of age & Citizens from non-EU countries between 6-17 years of age are entitled to free entrance to all sites visited during the tour
• All children 5 years of age and under are entitled to free entrance to all sites visited during the tour

November 01 2024 to March 31 2025

• Adults 25+: 5 euros
• Citizens from non-EU countries between 6-24: 5 euros
• European citizens 65+ : 5 euros
• European citizens under 25 years of age are entitled to free entrance to all sites visited during the tour
