Arrival at Meteora – Lunch in Kastraki Village

Reach Meteora around 12:30, where our friendly local Tour Leader will be waiting. Before the tour begins, enjoy a leisurely lunch in the charming village of Kastraki, nestled beneath the towering cliffs—an ideal spot to soak in the atmosphere and snap your first photos.

Guided Tour of Meteora – A Journey Through Time

Set off on a 4-hour guided tour through Meteora’s surreal landscape. Visit all six active monasteries and step inside three of them, learning their rich history and spiritual significance. Your Tour Leader will share fascinating insights into the geology, religious heritage, and secret traditions of the area. Highlights include a visit to the hidden Hermit Caves of Badovas and several scenic stops for unforgettable photo opportunities.

Return to Athens – Reflect on the Day’s Wonders

After a short break in the town of Kalabaka, the return journey begins at 18:00. Arrive back in Athens around 22:30 with lasting memories of one of Greece’s most extraordinary destinations.

Meeting point

The bus will be conveniently stationed on the street directly across from the Central Railway Station of Athens (Stathmos Larisis), adjacent to Everest cafe. Please locate our bus parked just across the street EVEREST cafe at the opposite side of the train station (Larissis Station) entrance. You can reach the meeting point with the red line Athens metro. Exit from Deligianni street and the bus will be parked 50 meters left from the metro station. Please be there at 07.45am 15 minutes prior to departure time.
