On the north-eastern slopes of the Acropolis, lies the beautiful area of Thissio.
Thissio got its name from the frieze on the Temple of Hephaestus, which is located within the beautiful archaeological site of the Ancient Agora. The frieze represents the labours of the hero Theseus.
